Originally From Elephant & Castle, England – Kurt currently resides in Olso, Norway with his wife Anita and their son Neon.
Having turned professional in 2000, a strong break builder, Kurt is among only 21 players to make multiple 147’s in professional competition and has achieved a highest ranking position of #31.
Kurt has worked hard to overcome adversity and made a triumphant return to the Main Tour in 2010.
After a very Strong performance in Beijing at the China Open, Kurt returned to England and headed straight to Ponds Forge Sheffield, for the qualifying rounds of the World Championships.
Kurt won all 3 of his matches earning his place at the Crucible fulfilling his childhood dream.
Kurt made his debut at the “Theatre of Dreams” just 2 days later in the opening round against former World Champion and World Number 1 Mark Selby losing 10-9 in a hard fought battle.
Kicking off the start of 2015-2016 Kurt will play in the World Cup China, forming a team with his Wife Anita representing Norway.
Kurt is feeling very positive and looking forward to a fantastic year ahead.

A. ‘7 and half’
3 What would your Ideal Career be, if not a professional Snooker Player?
A. ‘A Football Player for Chelsea’
4. Whats the most embarrassing thing to ever happen to you?
A. ‘Missing a Red Ball 3 times then losing the whole frame from it.’
5. How do you like to relax when you’re away from the table?
A. ‘Spending time with the family, watching football and playing football with my son Neon.’
6. What is your favourite food?
7. Do you have a Pre-Match Routine?
A. ‘I have a practice session approx 1 hour before my match’
8. What are your hopes and ambitions for the future?
A. ‘To break into the top 16 and win Tournaments’
